1. How long are the programs?
The HVAC/R and Electrician programs are each 36 weeks.
2. What time are classes offered?
Classes are held Monday through Thursday, either in the morning from 8 a.m. to noon, or in the evening from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays are an "open schedule" and can be used to make up missed days or for extra tutoring and lab time.
3. What will I get when I graduate from ATI?
Upon graduation, you will receive a certificate of completion in HVAC/R or Electrical Technology.
During the course you may also test for the EPA, electrical, air conditioning and gas heat certifications. Therefore, with a passing grade in each of those areas, you could leave our program with four nationally-recognized certifications.
And finally, we will provide you with a professional starter tool set that includes everything you need to walk out of school and into your new career.
4. Do I need a high school diploma or GED to attend ATI?
For those without a high school diploma or GED, those who demonstrate an ability to benefit may be accepted into the program.
5. Is ATI accredited?
ATI is an accredited member of the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET).
6. Do you offer financial aid?
We do have financing programs available for those who qualify. Please schedule an appointment for further information and eligibility requirements.
7. Do you accept GI Bill/VA Benefits?
Yes, we do. Our admissions representatives are available to assist with filing the appropriate paperwork and ensuring that you are properly processed for those benefits.
8. How often do classes start?
New classes begin every few weeks.
9. Do you offer job placement assistance?
Yes, we do. As a graduate in good standing, you will have access to our career services any time they are needed, for as long as they are needed.
10. Can I get a job while I am still in school?
Yes, many of our students work while in school.
11. Can I get additional tutoring even after I've been out of school for a while?
Yes, our past graduates are welcome to attend any class covering an area in which they feel they need further education as long as there is a seat available.
12. Is hands-on training available?
Yes, approximately half of our course is conducted in the lab, providing extensive hands-on experience.
